Monument Valley Panoramic (before sunset)

This panoramic image was taken in Monument Valley about a few minutes before sunset.  The lighting was fantastic and the moon was perfectly positioned.  I waited till the horizontal shadow of the horizon was about the same height as the horizon to add a degree of “unbalance” to the print.  Even with an ultra wide-angle lens I would not have been able to capture the entire scene.  I took twelve different overlapping photographs and stitched them together in Lightroom. The resulting file size is enormous and could be printed as large as the customer desires.
