Great Blue Herons – Photographs Nikon Z9

This was my second day with the new Nikon Z9. Still learning it and finding the best autofocus settings. It is certainly faster and more “sticky” than my D850 and nearly equal to the Sony a7MIV. I hope that it will surpass the Sony as I learn more about the features. Birds in Flight are always the most challenging for a camera to maintain autofocus, especially if the bird is coming directly towards you. Here the Z9 was amazing.
