Pelicans – Farmington Bay

Two different days, two very different results. A week or so ago I was able to find a lot of opportunities to photograph Great Blue Herons. On this visit to the bay, Pelicans were coming in from everywhere! They were still a long way from us, but with 500mm and 600mm lenses, we were able to get some nice tight shots…
