Delta Snow Geese – 2023

Finally made our annual trip to photograph the snow geese in Delta, Utah (we usually visit 3-4 times each year). Unfortunately, this will likely be my last trip to Delta. The geese were on a part of the water that was not visible from the one single public viewing location this year. We drove on public roads to try and get to where we could photograph them. NO TRESSPASSING signs EVERYWHERE! The City didn’t even have the public park unlocked! At least if it was open we could have seen the geese. It appears the people that live around the water are just fed up with all of the birdwatchers which was clearly articulated on several signs! We even got flipped off while parked on a public street. So, why does the city of Delta and the DNR continue to promote this event when the local folks clearly don’t want us there?????
